O-Week Pancake Breakfast
February 20 @ 8:30 am - 10:00 am
For centuries now, pancakes have stood as paragons of humanity’s culinary achievement. The pancake is a symbol of perfection in both geometry and taste – what the Buddha called nirvana, the Thelemites true will – and has been the breakfast of choice for all but a few of history’s greatest leaders, artists, scientists, innovators and kings. Sweet but subtle, fluffy but firm… They are the most exquisite contradictions, stacked on your plate like ladders to happiness.
As part of O-Week, we’ll be setting up a barbecue station at Park on the Hill and cooking pancakes for you. That’s right: pancakes. With maple syrup. Fresh off the pan, and free for you, because you deserve it. Come and get ’em.
