For some time now, we’ve been running Shut Up and Write sessions and boot camps on campus, both at Callaghan and Ourimbah. The premise is simple: sit together in a group, without distractions or warring commitments, and write! Sessions are structured using the Pomodoro Technique, which splits the work into 25-minute bursts, separated by 5-minute breaks.
Shut Up and Write sessions are brilliant at boosting your productivity and cutting through procrastination. We want to make them accessible to all of you, even those of you studying off-campus. And so, we’re excited to announce our first online Shut Up and Write session!
This will run like any other SUAW event, but you’ll be able to log onto our Online Clubhouse from 5pm and write with other students, no matter where you are. Now there’s no excuse for avoiding that assignment, journal article, thesis chapter, wedding speech, or whatever else you’re working on.
Once you’ve registered, we’ll contact you with more details closer to the event.
