For this session of The Space, the Thai student community at the University of Newcastle will be hosting a Thai cultural exchange event, with a free lunch of Thai cuisine and a display about Thailand, Destination and Culture.
Through the ‘Thai Touch’, we remember and honour His Majesty Bhumibol Adulyadej – a great king in the history of Thailand. We also share the beauty of Thai culture, one of the most popular Asian cultures manifested through food, dance and music.
The event will provide lunch specially prepared by the Thai community, and Newcastle’s favourite Thai restaurants. There will be a brief display about Thailand and Thai culture. You can have a conversation with Thai students who will be happy to talk to you and give details, of course, beyond the food!
Lunch will be served in the courtyard in front of Auchmuty Library.
All are welcome, so get ready to immerse yourself in the Thai student community and authentic Thai cuisine.
