Mental Health First Aid Training Course

Approximately 20% of Australian adults experience a common mental illness each year. Completing an Mental Health First Aid Course will help you to develop the skills to support a friend, family member or co-worker.
Having MHFA skills means that you can assist someone developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis and make a real difference to your community.
This two-day course, led by NUPSA SRSO, qualified social worker and accredited MHFA instructor Georgia Killick, will provide you with critical skills in assisting someone who may be experiencing a mental illness (such as anxiety, depression or schizophrenia).
The class runs from 9.30am – 4.30pm on Monday (Oct 21) and Tuesday (Oct 22); attendance is required across both days to complete the course.
