Movie Screening: ‘Spirited Away’

For our first movie screening of the year, we’ve chosen one of the most beloved and acclaimed animated films of all time. Spirited Away tells the story of Chihiro Ogino, a sullen ten-year-old girl who, while moving to a new neighborhood, enters the spirit world. After her parents are transformed into pigs by the witch Yubaba, Chihiro takes a job working in Yubaba’s bathhouse to find a way to free herself and her parents and return to the human world.
Free pizza will be served from 5.00pm in Derkenne Courtyard at the centre of the Shortland Building; the film will commence 6.00pm. In the event of poor weather, the film will instead be shown in GP101 (General Purpose Building). For catering purposes, please click below to register.
